Running Mysql/Minivend

Hi! Can anyone claim to have taken the minivend simple (initial set-up),
and successfully gotten it to run with look-ups from a mysql database?

I'd certainly like to know what their cfg looks like... mine just uses
products.asc as its products source no matter what I do, and I think I've
followed all the manual documentation exactly.
