Multi-Field Search Query

I am using minivend 3.10 (on Solaris). Works great, and we are looking to
expand our online product list to 4000. For this we will be integrating a
number of search options.
We would like to be able to search on multiple fields at once *with
different keywords for each field* ie: search for RED in the color field
and PLAID in the pattern field. Does Minivend support this?
Is this a standard "Coordinated/Joined searching"? We would want to have
pulldown lists of possible values for 4 different fields (and be able to
mix and match them)
