On UNIX, I do a:

	command_that_reads_stdin_for_info <commands_list
or      cat commands_list | command_that_reads_stdin_for_info

I don't know if this works on other platforms.  Also some programs
specifically read from other than stdin for information (such as ssh
which opens up the terminal for reading).  In this case you're out
of luck.  I doubt that it's the case for makecat, though.
