RE: 3.12 MySQL Usage w/Minivend

As you are already running perl, you may want to download module TK (as you appear to be using xwindows) and make one of your own!  I took most of the code for my gui interface from the Win32 PDK, but its use was easy enough that I only need two nights, a six pack of beer, and one large bag of cheesy-poofs to create a pretty rockin' interface of my very own!  (The cheesy poofs weren't really required though, I just added them in cuz they're tasty, everything else is a definate must.)

Of course, you may want to use the Perl::CGI module to create you interface too.  As you are using an HTML based environment, the lessons you learn there will definately help you along.

I have MySQL installed and running on my server. I don't know squat
about SQL databases.Does any one have suggestions about a good GUI for
MySQL the ones I have installed are XMySQL and XMySQLAdmin and they do
not seem to work properly. There is no instructions for these and the
help buttons don't work either. I have a 99,516 item catalog to deal
with and I need SQL to handle somethig this large I think. I will
gladely accept suggestions otherwise.
