Need shipping help

Shipping  is giving me some trouble.
I reverted back to the default shipping files in order to trouble shoot
my problem.
2ndDayAir , NextDayAir both show amounts.
But UPS ground is not showing results.

Here is what I get.
Note: No match found for mode 'upsg', quantity '1', returning 0. No
match found for mode 'upsg',quantity '1', returning 0. No match found
for mode 'upsg', quantity '1', returning 0.

Nothing is in error.log
I have read and reread the shipping docs, the mail list...etc.
And tried everything but evidently the right thing.

This was the problem I was hoping to fix by reverting back to default
files.

Please be advised it is adult material. Can anyone help today?
This is one of the last steps in completing this site.
What have I got wrong?
