RE: Does Minivend NEED Cybercash?

****** message to minivend-users from Bill Thornton <bill@i-forge.com> ******

Your connection to Cybercash _should_ allow you to choose whether you will
charge immediately (for "soft" goods like software or mp3's) that will be
transferred to the buyer immediately. Other goods, so-called "hard" goods,
cannot be charged until they are shipped.

Your cybercash account should have a "cash register" that will allow you to
tell it when to actually transfer the money. With "hard" goods
transactions, the inital processing just freezes the amount of the
transaction so that the buyer cannot spend money he's promised to a company.
Then, once an item is shipped the vendor is supposed to go in and process
the transaction the rest of the way and have the money transferred into
their merchant account.
