Minivend 3.12 and Apache for Windows 1.3.6 - Frame problem in "Simple" Demo

****** message to minivend-users from gogos@ria.org ******

Hello All!

Is there anyone out there who is using Minivend 3.12 with The
Apache Server for windows on Windows 95? Where you able to
successfully install and test the new demo catalog (frames and all!)
that comes with Minivend? It doesn't appear to be working right for
me.

If your interested, read on....!

I have a development environment that runs Minivend 3.11 and The
Apache Web Server for Windows version 1.3.6 on My windows 95
PC (64M RAM, Pentium200 mhz).

I set up the demo catalog that came with Minivend 3.11 in a Virtual
Host on Apache. My network domain name and IP address is used
as the Server name. I set up the proper directives and Add
Handlers to invoke CGI, and everything works fine.

I upgraded to Minivend 3.12, and set up the updated new demo on
Apache in the same manner as above. The Home page for the
demo catalog came up fine. However, When I clicked on either the
"frames" or "noframes" links, Minivend apears to repeatedly hit the
Apache server, but doesn't link me to the pages that are supposed
to come up. After about 30 of these hits, the minivend error log
sends a message like the following after each hit:

WARNING:POSSIBLE BAD ROBOT. Accessed 50 times.
WARNING:POSSIBLE BAD ROBOT. Accessed 51 times.

In Apache, I get a number of access messages like the following in
the access log file:

205.232.18.100 - - [05/Apr/1999:10:09:44 -0400] "GET /cgi-
bin/artstore.exe/index?JNKhYP3E;;744 HTTP/1.1" 302 17357

bin/artstore.exe/index?JNKhYP3E;;744 HTTP/1.1" 302 17369

Has anyone had any experiences similar to the above?

Thank you for any help you can give me, and congratulations on a
super job with Minivend project.
