it seems me, you have a typo? At the line "Missing right bracket ..."
tell you, there is somthing wrong in your code! Perhaps you must write
[if explicit [subtotal noformat=1] gt 75]
and not
[if explicit [subtotal noformat=1 gt 75]
?
