IE/Netscape Search Part 2

I've narrowed down the trouble..

I use a search map.

<INPUT TYPE=hidden NAME=mv_search_map VALUE="
mv_searchspec=searchf
mv_searchspec=searchc
mv_searchspec=searchh
mv_searchspec=searchz
">

minivend docs state...
"Leading/trailing whitespace is stripped from all lines in the mv_search_map
variable, so you can position it as shown for convenience."

We've discovered that IE makes them carrage returns whereas with netscape
they appear as new line feeds when the info is submitted to be processed..

IE returns all 190 items in the database whereas Netscape returns the 2
items it should..

I've taken the above and made it
<INPUT TYPE=hidden NAME=mv_search_map VALUE="mv_searchspec=searchf
mv_searchspec=searchc mv_searchspec=searchh mv_searchspec=searchz">

all one line, now, Netscape and IE returns all 190 items..

I don't really know of how to fix the search engine, I was hoping someone
out there had problems with this as well and a solution..
