Hi,

My only comment to this subject.

Agreed, this list is going to be great, but at the same moment in
danger of going down the drain.

Agreed.

Whatever mail reader one uses, you can disable default html-style
sending of messages within a second. Everyone who has not the courtesy
to turn it off in a list like this one deserves to be sent to ...

You might be the person who will get a lot of headaches one day. 8-) You
are wrong. There are still lots of persons who do consider Lynx
compatibility.

And there are lots of people who have some other motivations to be on
this list than searching for the last buck out of every freaking
shopowner...and who don't bother too much about the latest IE toys from
overly smart GUI interface designers who haven't outgrown their ...

Right, I know both sides. Had all the nicest things in the US for
amazingly little money, shared T1, no data-transfer limits which could
ever been reached realistically by one shopping site, no measured
time-units for being online, ONE flat fee for 7d/24h at almost no costs.
Try to do the same thing in Germany ... 8-) Hope you find some dimes left
in your pockets after it's done 8-).

And as we are at it. There is something like [snip]. Would be nice if
you would be polite enough to snip away ALL superflous stuff when
answering to someone's post. I am going systematically through the
archives for documentation purposes and I can tell you that if
you print out a typical digest it has around twenty pages each time
and may be TWO pages of worthwhile answers. Right now we are at a rate of
almost two digests per day.

It's a waste of paper, waste of bandwidth, cost me money to download,
costs me time to trim it, costs me money in paper, costs me money in
ink-cartridges for my printer, has develish impact on my eye sight and
more on my emotional well being. 8-).

Do we really need to read thirty times per digest how to unsubscribe
from this list ?

Do we really need to read twenty times the same original text of the
person who posted a question or comment ?

It's a pity if that would continue. The list just starts to be very
good, as there are regular knowledgable posters here now, who help out
regularly, post code snippets and enhance the experience of using and
dealing wiht MiniVend greatly.

Please edit your posts to an easy readable size and style.

Thanks.
