session.db size problems SOLVED
****** message to minivend-users from "Russ" <russ@khouse.org> ******
Eureka!!! Thank you very much Larry!
Hi Russ -

I think the "-r" option only works with GDBM files (session.gdbm). For DB
files (session.db), expireall will delete old user session entries from
the database, but the size of the file itself on disk will not change.
For GDBM files, using "-r" also compacts the size of the file on disk.
If you delete the session.db file, a new one will be created but you will
lose any user sessions that had not yet been expired.
You should also look at the "compact" utility, which creates a new empty
db file and copies the session entries into it. It's in the MiniVend bin
directory.
