Re: Possible search bug in 3.12beta13 (and earlier)

****** message to minivend-users from Matthew.Rice@ftlsol.com ******

I should probably mention that I'm doing this site for a client the
needs "OBI" ability to do on-line purchasing. Basically, webified
EDI and it's been mandated by Ford for all of its suppliers. I
haven't seen any mention of this on the mailing list. Is anyone
else doing this?

The big boys that are doing this are charging insanely large amounts
of money for this capability.

Actually, the partcat.asc file is a database of categories for the
products. Basically, formatted as a hierarchy. For example,

	/Bearing/Mounted/Metric/<etc>

would be a category. I made it so that people can click on Bearing
which would present Mounted, Unmounted, etc. which they could click
on and so on until they qualified the part as much as possible to
make their search easier.

This is going to be a products database numbering about one million
entries with a lot of redundant descriptions/keywords so we're trying
to make it easy on people to find what they want.

Regards and thanks to everyone for the assistance,
