Newbie: how tom implement a german sales tax ?

Hi,

I'm new to this list, minivend and unfortunately new to perl and html too.
We are a little company (ISP) and selling those Linux Penguins (Tux) and
FreeBSD Daemons here in Germany.
Our old Filemaker based Web shop it's reaching his limits now, and so I
have looked at minivend.

First: it looks very very compilcated to me. :-|

I try to modify minivend's simple demo to our needs, but there are some
restrictions here in Germany:

We need to have all prices including the german VAT.
We have differnt VAT's for different products;
Books and CD's has 7% others products have 16% VAT.

I have tried to implement this by the CommonAdjust Feature of Minivend,
but it seems that I could'nt understand the doc :-(

I have an additional column in the products database called VAT, so
I could calculate the price in the form:
price: = products:price + products:price * products:vat /100

How I have to implement this ?
