RE: Consulting

Brian,

The button really isn't the problem.  I'm just a retired navy pilot and am having trouble getting started.  I've got the Minivend and Perl loaded onto my Windows 98.  I've answered the questions and it made the templates.  I can change the HTML part but the CGI isn't reading the Minivend code.  I ftp'd the files to my Unix server but it still doesn't read the cgi file and everything comes up showing the Minivend code.

I know I've probably done some really dump things.

Hi,
Save your money.  This will work, unless you have to have a button.  The button would still be easy, I'm sure, but I think text looks a little better, simply because you can format it.

Good Luck,

I'm new at this.  I got Minivend and Perl loaded and did the initial "simple" templates.

Is there anyone that does consulting work that could talk me through the rest or maybe get it started for me.  What I'm trying to do is add a column to the price list at http://www.qualitycounts.com/price.html .  The column would contain a "Buy" button for each item.  It would be in frames with the shopping basket shown at the left.  Similar to what they have at www.diabetesnet.com.
