Expireall -r -- Really Increased Speed!

Hi All,
    I just wanted to let the group know the benefit of "expireall -r".  I
hadn't done it in about 6 months (though I had done reboots in that time)
and did it yesterday.  I graph my server load (current, 5 minutes, and 15
minutes) and the difference was amazing.  My server load immediately went
down to 25% of what it was!  I have about 20 catalogs, and that made a
noticeable difference in search speed (or more accurately the time it takes
perl to format and return those results in HTML).

    I still haven't resolved my original problem, but have narrowed it down
to permissions.  If you do "expireall -r" make sure to run it as the
minivend user, and if you have problems you'll have to chmod -R 777 your
catalogs directory, atleast I had to.  That is where I am at now.
