I am resubmitting this question. I figure no one knows the answer, so if
you have any ideas at all let me know. I have searched for [data session
failure] but to no avail.

I am using the Log in code copied from the simple demo (3.12beta10) on a
separate sign-in page. In the simple demo if you make a mistake signing in
the code:

[if session failure]
[data session failure]
[/if]

Displays:

"Username does not exist."

However, in my catalog the only message I ever get is:

"Not Logged in."

It's the same whether mv_nextpage is the same page or the home page. Does
anyone know what how to get this to work. I have search the documentation
and there is nothing about [data session failure]. I think Barry was
asking something similar a while back.
