Anyone using va=varname=value successfully?

	I am attempting to use va=var=value in the following context:
[page href=scan
      arg="se=Oil On Canvas
           va=category_name=Oil On Canvas
           st=sql"]Oil On Canvas[/page]

And the second = in the va= line keeps getting substituted for %3d.

When I attempt to print the value in results.html with [value category_name] it 
fails :( If anyone has gotten this to work PLEASE let me know it is driving me 
crazy! :)
