They did get copied. I've done this installation several times and the
images are always present. I've tried putting an absolute path in
catalog.cfg
IMAGE_DIR /usr/local/www/simple/images
followed by a 'reconfig' but that didn't help.
Someone mentioned an httpd.conf entry, I'll try that, though it wasn't
necessary in my last installation.
