2nd request. Please help.

****** message to minivend-users from Rick Lord <rick@desertlord.com> ******

I have installed the latest Minivend on my ISP's server, and it seems to

work fine, except for two problems:

1. Using Telnet and Lynx to saturn:7786 on my ISP's computer, I get the

standard request for username and password, but I can't get past it. I
tried minivend for the username and nevairbe for the password, and of
course that doesn't work. I also tried adding my own username to the
.cfg file and restarting the minivend server, but that doesn't work,
either. Can anyone tell me how to set myself up as a user on my own
system?

2. The documentation for Minivend seems to say that administration must

be done on the server, using telnet if necessary, for security reasons.
It also says that you can change this to enable remote administration by

changing the settings involving 127.0.0.0 in the configuration files.
(This is the mask which indicates that the request is coming from a
local system.) However, I am unable to find any such numbers in any of
the configuration files, and the documentation does not give any further

help. Does anyone know what config file I can find that mask check in?

Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
