Hiho Mike...

You can absolutely be proud of MV...

I was looking for a shopping system for quite a long time. All
commercial ones were too expensive or to restricted - so I searched for
free ones.
All I found were some small CGIs, PHP3-Scripts or similar. I was about
to give up when I got a messages about MV in the Freshmeat-Newsletter...

My first tries with MV were a little frustrating, but learning more and
more about it I have to quote Spock: "fascinating" ;).

A week ago another Shop-System was announced on Freshmeat:

The sentence "... and it should be more complete and more powerful than
Minivend..." made me look at it a little closer...

And what do I see on their webpage?

"Please note: This is software in progress. Not all features are
implemented."
"CCProc: (not finished)"
"Some other features: (to be implemented)"
"Other features: (implemented at least partially)"
"Current Stable Version: NONE YET"

I did not go any further - I think I'll use MV until me (or the
Internet) is dead... :)
By now I love it - with all faults included...

PS: Did you know that the MV-List has more "traffic" than bugtraq - the
security-list?
