Could be typos/configuration changes but you are missing the flat
file "placeholder" and mysql, by default, runs on 3306. I'd try
Database music music.asc dbi:mysql:slrecords:localhost
NoImport music.asc
Most of the problems I've run into in the last week or so have
been caused by errors in catalog.cfg. I'd take a nap and then
examine catalog.cfg closely. :)

Why is it using DB_File? Don't know, but I'll bet you're telling MV
to do so.
