Changing the menubar in a new sample catalog

Hi,

We just got a new sample catalog and are trying to modify the given menubar
using the new maxivend interface.  We downloaded the file /pages/menubar
and changed it, but when we tried to upload it, no changes took place.  We
have tried changing catalog.cfg to use menubar1 instead of menubar and have
uploaded the file, but to no avail.  Anyone have any ideas?
