Most likely it's perfectly good javascript code, but crappy version of
Explorer. IE 3 is pretty much unable to do javascript IMHO. The HTML
generated by minivend is as good and compatible as you write it. The
minivend tags create very clean HTML, so this is an unlikely cause.

Some javascript documentation sites have check lists what may cause
problems in various browsers. The bottom line is you can crash any version
of IE and Netscape with legal javascript, debuuging will pretty much be
trial and error.

Sometimes I wish we would be back in the good old days when the browser war
was about Mosaic vs Netscape and the hottest discussion was whether it
would be a good idea to support image inclusion in HTML. (sigh)
