Install at the console?  
um...I'm guessing that they have telnet off for security reasons; I doubt
they'd allow console access.

Althought Minivend _could_ be pre-compiled on a similar machine, and then
uploaded, without some sort of access, it'll be almost impossible to the
processes to start.  (Okay, in a sick, twisted way, if they allowed CGI
access, you could get it to start, anyway, but that'd be a real pain)

It sounds to me as if you really do need to find another site to host your
minivend site, or atleast inform your server that without shell access,
you'll have to take your business elsewhere, and see how they react.
