Re: FORM action process-target with ARGument ?

******    message to minivend-users from "Michael Radke" <mra@trendware.de>     ******

Dear Christopher,

thank you for your fast replay. Okay, I did what
you told me, but
it did not work.

When that va=my_var=Myvalue -thing should be used
not only on SCAN
href's, it does not work here..

Okay, what I want to do is : making a href to a
page where the customer
will be asked how many pieces of that article he
wants to purchase. I
am calling that amount-page from a page wherein
some articles get listet
by a [sql]...[/sql] construction :

<td width="1%" align="right" valign="top" nowrap>
<a href="[area href="bestellen"
arg="va=my_article=[sql-param 0]"]">
<img src="/images/bestellen.gif"
border="0"></a></td>

On "bestellen.html" I want to use :

[sql type="list" query="select * from products
where
code='[value my_article]'" base="products"]

The created hyperlink is :

<a
href="http://www.monitor2000.de/cgi-bin/salesman/b
estellen?3ZWGySQr;va=my_article=20;45">

But.....: the MySQL Logfile shows :

275 Query select * from products where
code=''

Well, seems that va=var=value does not work in
this way. I had
that problem once, when I was building my first
shop. I didn't
get that va=var=value thing working. I am using MV
3.11, everything
works accept this thing and, there was also a
problem with a sql-
query when using sorted searches with low- and
high-limit, this
was fixed by modifying - as advised in the
mailinglist archive -
a perl file - take a look at :

http://www.minivend.com/minivend/minivend-list/199
8-old/1236.html

There was no other change to MV. As mentioned,
everything works
very very well. The machine was installed only for
MV purposes,
the installation procedure went through without
any errors.

Any ideas ? Which MV perl-files are invoked with
this va=...
thing ? Shall I mail that file to someone, who
might take a
look at it ?

Regards,
Michael Radke
