Steps to making checkout secure?

1. Edit the "Catalog" line in minivend.cfg to reflect where else the script
may be called:
Catalog store /home/mysite/catalogs/store /cgi-bin/store
/store/~mysite/cgi-bin/store - like this last item added here.
2..3..4..??? (Are there any other steps?)
The only 2 other issues I have after editing this minivend.cfg line are
broken images with links & form processing problems.
When clicking the "Place Order!" I get:
https://secure.ispserver.com/~mysite/~mysite/cgi-bin/store/process?R8vpw8Yd;
;82
I can't help but think that the double (/~mysite/~mysite/) is related to
more https configuration on my end. I could cheat and make it send the
appropriate URL for form submission, but then it would break the non-secure
order form. This would also not be healthy because I'm sure I'd probably
lose other functionality as well.
Suggestions? Sorry if this has been answered, but I cannot seem to find it.
