Yes, there are more of them - just look at the docs at the chapter "The
search engine" - "di" and others are explained on the page "One-click
searches" - di e.g. is a short replacement for "mv_dict_limit" as
explained on the "fast binary search" - page

Yes you can do this easily with just adding a subcategory-field.
BUT: you will not be able to search it with di - you need other
search-parameters.
