Examples Of Options/Accessories?

****** message to minivend-users from John Beima <jbeima@palb.com> ******

G'Day Folks,

Might anyone have an idea on how to do multiple options on an item?

What I have to do for a client is have a data base of 20 items, but each
item has upwards of 10 options.

So for lack of a better example, say they are buying a computer system.

They would by Package #1.

With Options like:

#1 CPU
#2 RAM
#3 Hard Drive Size
#4 CD-ROM Speed
#5 Video cards

Also all of the options adjust the price.

Now I looked at using the accessories option, but there is basicly no
documentation on it. When you look up [accessory code] it tells you to go
get the syntax from [item-accessory], which has no pratical example, nor
does it explain what the parameters are. There is also no example on how
to set up the accessory.asc database file.

NOTE: On the above example I can't just pull a color option because by the
time you do "video1=Matrox G200 AGP Video Board, video2=ATI XPert98 AGP
Video Board", you quickly run out of 255 characters.

If someone could help me out with this, I would be more than willing to
post the resulting code to the mailing list. With some sort of explanation
as to how to implement it as well.

Thanks Ahead Of Time,

John Beima
