Loop through multiple carts.
****** message to minivend-users from "Yossi Cohen" <YOSSI@prodigy.net> ******
Hi guys,
Not a perl guru to say the least. I am struggling for the past several days
obtaining an idea on how I can iterate through a list of all shopping carts
and display them in one single page; i.e. basket.html. The new UserDB.pm has
several functions which allows to obtain these type of information (e.g.
get_cart_names, get_cart, save_cart, etc). In particular [loop arg="[value
carts]"] ... [/loop] allows to iterate through a list of user's "saved"
carts. The problem is that these functions are only available to a user that
is logged in.
I am trying to do similar things with the flycat catalog where by a buyer
can place various items from different merchants. Minivend in turn places
the items in separate carts (named after the vendors id). It would be great
if basket.html page displays all the available carts (from the various
vendors).
I just wonder whether there's a simple solution that escaped my eyes, or a
complete perl programming is required for that purpose.
I appreciate your comments.
Sincerely
Yossi
