error when subtotal > 1000

I use the following code in MiniVend 3.11:
Betrag: [subtotal]<br>
enthaltene MwSt: [currency] [calc] [subtotal]-([subtotal]/1.16) [/calc]
[/currency] <br>
<b>zu zahlender Betrag in DM:
[currency][calc][subtotal]+10[/calc][/currency]</b>
Everything works fine when subtotal is < 1000.. But if it's bigger the
results
aren't correct anymore:
Here is an example:
Betrag: 986.70
enthaltene MwSt: 136.10
zu zahlender Betrag in DM: 996.70 -> this is correct
Betrag: 1,016.60
enthaltene MwSt: 8.28
zu zahlender Betrag in DM: 1,470.00 -> this is false
Can anybody help?
