Set up your link like this:

http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/simple?;;REFERERCODE

the referer code must start with Alpha characters and can have numbers in
it.
the referer is tracked in the variable [data session source]

I put this line at the end of my checkout.html page so the source code can
be sent to the backend.asc file.
<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="sourceid" VALUE="[data session source]">

I have just finished digging through the manual and cannot find what I need.
Is there a way to set a referrer id field in the report / order form that
gets sent for orders placed?  I am trying to track for commission purposes,
users that click through a banner ad / link from another site and purchase
something.  If someone could point me in the right direction, I'd greatly
appreciate it!
