problems with databases

Hy list.

I have some problem managing an arbitrary database, defined in catalog.cfg
as:

Database settori settori.txt TAB

The file settori.txt look like this:

cod settore
0 Abbigliamento
1 Cucina
...

When in a page I write this piece of code:
...
[tag each settori]
 This is the categry: [loop-field settore]
[/tag]
...

I obtain a list of n lines, where n=# of records in settori.txt, but with
repeated fields
(for example "Abbigliamento" is shown 5-6 times etc.)

I also have problems in sorting the products database, the command is
totally ignored!

My configuration is:
linux Red Hat 5.0
perl 5.0 patchlevel 4 subversion 4 (from RedHat 5.2 distribution)
minivend 3.11
