Hi,
Trying to make Minivend to search cyrillic databases (word-matching,
case INsensitive) I found I have to add
use locale;
at the begining of mvend/lib/Vend/Search.pm
Otherwise, I was completely unable to acomplish a successive search.
The question is: does this imply problem(s) somewhere else around the
minivend modules ? This is mostly a question to Minivend authors,
though. So, Mike, what you think ??
Another note: it is imposible to set (catalog.cfg)
Locale <some-locale> ...
if <some-locale> contains '.' or '-'. However, on many systems,
locales are set up like this: ru_RU.KOI8-R, en_US.ISO_8859-1, etc... Of
course symlinks are there to help, but this is a restriction I don't
agree with (hmm.. who cares...:-)
