australia and credit card clearance

hi all,
what i'm looking for here in australia is a method of credit card
clearance that does not cost the earth and works with minivend. there are
several ways to set this up here but they all cost over $1000 and as much
as $5000, and this is with annual fees and cost per transaction payable by
the hosting service.

i hear cybercash in america is free to setup and they make their money by
the purchaser paying a small fee on the transaction. australia has
clearance services like telstra (telephone company), camtech (charge with
transaction fees), etc.

does anyone know of a free service like cybercash in australia? it's hard
enough to get everthing going without paying stacks for a service that
will bring the credit card companies money.
