searching database instead of products.asc
****** message to minivend-users from "Billy" <chiangt@iname.com> ******
Hi all
I've setup my MV site using Linux Redhat 2.0.36, postgres 6.3.2. I've read
that the default search database is the products.asc ASCII file, but how do
I change it to searching through a database? Or do I have to use something
like glimpse for the search to work? I've tried to use
mv_search_file="products", where products is the database inside postgres,
but the error logs still says "can't find file products.asc".
My catalog.cfg has postgres setup as...
Database products products dbi:Pg:dbname=minivend
Database products COLUMN_DEF code=char(20)
etc etc..
all other database works fine.
Any help will be appreciated.
