Minivend 3.11 : Redhat 5.0 : Problem with mv_admin from INSTALL documentation

as the subject line says:  I am running mv version 3.11 on rh5.0 with
Apache 1.2.6-5... perl 5.004-4... gdbm 1.7.3... I think all of which are
up to where they need to be to work.

I installed minivend on a RH 5.0 system.  Everything seems fine (the box
is heavily patched with updates, etc) so the caveats explained in the docs
seem not to apply.  Kudos to everyone who wrote it...  thanks for making
it "free". :)

However, I can go the webstore that I am testing with without a problem, I
can shop, etc... and it calculates and does what it is supposed to do just
fine.  Search and all.  (this is the makecat simple demo thing)

However, if I try to go http://the.configured.host:7786/mv_admin as the
doc says to do, it (netscape) pops up it's "Document contains no data"
window.  I can't seem to find anything that applies, or at least that I
can verify that applies... Is that a problem that has already been dealt
with, or do I have a special case here?  I am guessing I have simply
failed to find in all my searching, the answer that is probably already
there somewhere.

I see the thing about FreeBSD and BSDI, but that doesn't seem to make
sense to me.  I am servicing lots of websites off these boxes, with no
trouble...

Any info is appreciated!
