Fees for Service
****** message to minivend-users from "Rob Zimmerman" <rob@readysite.net> ******
I know this is always a tough question and am NOT interested in being
accused of price fixing, however I think that this is a fair discussion as this
list is international.
Other than hourly fees, what are some of the fees being charged for a
complete minivend online store. That is, setting up the database, graphics,
html, minivend catalog.cfg etc. I have seen so many variations it is hard to
determine a fair price for service.
I am a small operater and offer personal attention, however, the big
companys can whip this stuff out a lot quicker. I am not looking to undercut
anyone, infact I will probably be on the high end if possible.
What do some of you base your store front fees on? Number of catalog
entries, hourly developement, etc. Any input much appreciated and I hope
this does not turn the wrong way as this is an honest question.
I am implementing my first store front for one of my current websites that I
host. I would not charge for "learning" time and actually hedge in thier favor
but I do not want to undercharge.
The store will include over 100 products (1000 pc puzzles) that will contiue to
grow. I have set up SSL and PGP for use with their merchant account. When
I get my merchant account I will include Cybercash. This also involves an
entire re-design of their web site with new graphics and re-scanning all their
puzzle images.....
Again, many thanks for any input.....
Rob
