With Apache, and probably Roxen, you can configure the translation
between html name space and filesystem name space. So for any
given URL, www.example.com
DocumentRoot /usr/websites/example
ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /usr/websites/cgi-scripts/
The server will look for normal pages in the directory /usr/websites/example
and it will look for cgi scripts in /usr/websites/cgi-scripts. You can quite
easily have different definitions for the secure and non-secure URL's.
Sorry for the Apacheisms but I don't know Roxen's config syntax.
