Using MV with Roxen SSL3 - Syntax error in post input

I've been working on a login screen and have a basic version operating,
but when I attempt to access it on a secured https port, it fails with
this error recorded:

It seems that HTTP/1.0 is ending up on the POST and I'm clueless as to
why...  Also, why is the referer line truncating?
