RE: How do I send a page input?

****** message to minivend-users from Valutech - Tim Shea <tim@valutech.net> ******

Hi Jonathon,

I use:

[page target/va=variablename=data]

Then to retrieve on the target page:

[if value variablename]
  You selected [value variablename].
 [else]
  You didn't pass a variable.
 [/else]
[/if]

I then reset the variable so it won't be carried to the next page:

[value name="sw" flag=1 set=""]

I'm pretty much a beginner at Minivend, and there is probably a better way
(and better explanations) to do this, but this is how I got it to work for
me.

I've recently completed a dynamic menu generation system in Minivend which
may be of some help to you. If you are interested in checking out the code,
I'll post it on my ftp server.

Cheers,
Tim Shea

Subject:	How do I send a page input?

My name is Jonathon Spaeth...

How do I send a page parameters via a URL?
For example, I have a page named categories.html
I would like to send categories.html a categoryID and only chose the
products from that categoryID.

Any help would be appreciated.
