arguments, perl, passing

List,

	Any experts out there have knowledge of how to pass additional arguments
in with a page request? I'm working on a method of getting to a specific
product in minivend (frames mode) from another site.
	A link of http://www.site.com/cgi-bin/shop/order;product; will launch as a
non framed nav bar. http://www.site.com/cgi-bin/shop/product will show
the product's page in a non framed window. I have a page set up (in the
shop's pages dir) that is not in the product database. It's called
test.html and it contains roughly the contents of the original index.html
(which has the frameset setup). So, my URL would be
http://www.site.com/cgi-bin/shop/test I can have the main window open to
any product directly:

<frameset border="1" frameborder="1" framespacing="0" bordercolor="#003366"
cols="200,*">
<frame name="nav"  src="[area nav]">
<frame name="main" src="[area 13-10]">    [comment]item code replaces
'catalog'[/comment]
</frameset>

	I would like to pass an argument to the page that dictates which product
is opened. I know this is a fairly popular topic and I feel I've found a
killer method to do it, I'm just missing this one piece. Any takers?
